I am an artist and musician who has always struggled with eczema. When music put my imperfections in the spotlight I became uncomfortable in my own skin. It became an uphill battle to even wear short sleeve clothes. Most nights were filled with tears, low self-esteem, and feeling helpless. However, once I created something that made me feel confident and helped my skin clear up and glow, I had to share it.

Writing, creating, and being a mother are the center of my world. Finding a creative outlet while being able to help others is something I could not pass up. As a mother of a child with eczema, it felt like a duty to help other parents not sure of what to do.

As a stand-up comedian and actor, my appearance is very important to me, but I had embarrassing dry patches on my face, and eczema on my body that made me feel a little insecure. My face didn't really look good on a headshot and that's a problem!
